We are seeking active-duty service members transitioning from all branches to participate in our SkillBridge internship program, supporting TelCyte’s rapidly growing Outside Plant (OSP) division. Due to the nature of the work, this position operates primarily in a field environment with regular exposure to outdoor conditions and physical activity.

This role is responsible for overseeing small cell installation and troubleshooting activities in the field, while directly managing a crew of one to two technicians. The position is hands-on and leadership-driven, requiring both advanced technical expertise and the ability to coordinate field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.


The Lead Technician is responsible for conducting daily safety assessments, maintaining jobsite organization and compliance, and directing crew activities across all phases of installation—including pole work, RF equipment installation, fiber and electrical connections, and site restoration. This role also includes reviewing project plans and specifications, managing material takeoffs and procurement, coordinating schedules, tracking crew time, and communicating daily with management. Small Cell Technician – Wireless

This role is responsible for the installation, integration, and troubleshooting of small cell and RF equipment in field environments, including utility pole and ground-mounted applications. The position is hands-on and field-driven, requiring work outdoors and at height, supporting the build-out of next-generation wireless networks.


The Small Cell Technician will work closely with field crews and leadership to install antennas, radios, cabinets, and associated fiber, coax, and electrical components. Responsibilities include pulling fiber and electrical conductors, setting meter bases and load centers, making RF and power connections, and performing testing such as PIM and sweep analysis. TelCyte is seeking CDL Class A candidates to join our team! This position will operate various types of TelCyte vehicles including 1 ½, 2- and 5-ton pickups, dump trucks as well as hydrovac trucks. Candidate will be driving 20 – 50 percent of the workday depending on the daily needs determined by workload and task. TelCyte drivers are required to assist with various other tasks while not driving included but not limited to help hydro excavate, backfill holes, restoration and install various other fiber products. The ideal candidate will be safety focused, customer and quality oriented, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
